Earlier this month, Healthy Pet had the absolute joy of sponsoring the 2025 ZilkerBark Golden Meetup, the largest golden retriever gathering in Texas, with over 1,200 goldens in attendance. It was a sea of sunshine, tail wags, and floofy joy from start to finish.

This year marked our biggest event presence yet. We brought out our largest team to date, handed out exclusive ZilkerBark x Healthy Pet bandanas, and helped cheer on the wildly popular Golden Races, which we co-sponsored with NutriSource. Prizes were awarded to the top four finishers, and the competition was just as fun as it was fast.

We also hid one Golden Ticket in the 2,500 goodie bags handed out at the event, redeemable for a year of free dog food from FirstMate. That lucky moment added a little extra magic to an already unforgettable day.

Most importantly, the event raised over $15,000 for Golden Ribbon Rescue, a local nonprofit dedicated to finding forever homes for golden retrievers in need. Supporting local rescues is something we care deeply about, and we were proud to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

We loved meeting so many new pups, reconnecting with longtime customers, and sharing plenty of smiles and snacks along the way. A huge thank you to the ZilkerBark team for hosting such a joyful and well-run event.
