The Domain

Although The Domain has many high-end stores, they are very welcoming towards dogs. Featuring 100 upscale and mainstream retail stores and restaurants, you’ll find many dog-friendly retailers and restaurants with patios. Plus, some stores have water bowls in front of them for your furry friend to enjoy.

2ND Street District

Complete with Austin-owned retail and restaurants, this downtown gem is perfect for strolling with your pooch. Restaurants with patios are dog-friendly and many shops welcome dogs. Just be sure to keep your dog leashed at all times on your walk.

Hill Country Galleria

Although not technically in Austin, Hill Country Galleria is a great place to wander and features restaurants with outdoor seating. There is a dog water fountain, dog waste dispensers throughout the shopping plaza and if you head to Guest Services, you will receive a complimentary dog treat. In addition, you’ll find a DogSpot, a smart sidewalk sanctuary, where your pup can stay when you enter a store they aren’t allowed in.

Southpark Meadows

Take your dog on a walk at Southpark Meadows where there are restaurants with outdoor seating that you both will enjoy. The Grove, an event space located within Southpark Meadows, has frequent events that your pup can join in on the fun. After shopping or dining, you can head to nearby Ann And Roy Butler Hike And Bike Trail for a longer walk.

The Arboretum

Located in northwest Austin, The Arboretum is home to more than 40 national and local retail, dining and entertainment options. Throughout the year, they host several pet-friendly events, including Pups & Pints and Shop with your Pet Night. You’ll love the diverse event offerings that spice up your usual shopping.
