AjK Family Rescue is a non-profit foster based rescue, serving Central Texas and surrounding cities; AjK Family Rescue is dedicated to rescuing pets, primarily dogs left homeless in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, those that are owner surrendered due to unforeseen or difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
The Austin, Texas-based non-profit aims to make a difference by working together to provide temporary loving foster homes, veterinary care and forever homes for hundreds of rescued animals each year.
